The Wall is an advanced dive site in the Andaman Islands, India, featuring one of the most dramatic vertical reef walls in the Indian Ocean, plunging from shallow reef to beyond 55 meters into the abyssal depths. The wall face is a masterpiece of marine biodiversity—massive gorgonian fans, black coral trees, barrel sponges, and dense soft coral gardens cascade down the vertical surface in a riot of color. Schools of fusiliers and surgeonfish create a living curtain along the wall, while grey reef sharks and eagle rays patrol the deeper blue water. The wall top features pristine hard coral gardens where turtles rest and reef sharks cruise. The extreme depth potential demands strict discipline and is suitable only for experienced deep divers. The Wall represents the pinnacle of Andaman Islands diving, a site where the raw power and biodiversity of the Indian Ocean meet in one of the most visually overwhelming underwater landscapes imaginable.
