The Arch

The Arch is an advanced dive off Calabria's coast near the Strait of Messina, featuring a spectacular natural stone arch formation that frames the deep blue beyond. The arch's walls and ceiling are encrusted with colorful sponges, gorgonians, and Mediterranean coral, while the passage creates a natural funnel that concentrates marine life. Large grouper station themselves in the arch's shadow, and schools of barracuda pass through in the current.
