Capua Wreck

Capua Wreck is an advanced dive off the coast near Scopello in northwestern Sicily, where a cargo vessel rests on the seabed within sight of the Zingaro Nature Reserve's stunning cliffs. The wreck has been transformed over decades into a thriving artificial reef, with every surface colonized by sponges, hydroids, and dense marine growth. Large grouper guard the hull, while schools of bream and barracuda circle overhead. The combination of wreck diving and the exceptionally clear waters of the Zingaro reserve creates an outstanding diving experience on Sicily's most beautiful stretch of coast.
