Isolotti dell'Ogliastra is an intermediate dive site off Sardinia's spectacular eastern coast, where a cluster of small rocky islets rises from the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The underwater landscape mirrors the dramatic cliffs above — granite and limestone walls plunge to 30 meters, creating a series of canyons, arches, and swim-throughs between the islets. The rock surfaces are richly colonized with gorgonians, encrusting sponges, and dense Posidonia beds in the shallower areas. The Ogliastra coastline is among the least developed in Sardinia, and the pristine water quality supports thriving populations of groupers, barracuda, and large schools of bream. Octopuses are particularly abundant, and eagle rays are spotted seasonally. The backdrop of Sardinia's most dramatic coastal scenery — towering limestone pinnacles and pristine coves — makes diving here an unforgettable experience above and below the surface.
