Portu Pedrosu - Sifone is an advanced dive site along Sardinia's Gulf of Orosei coast, featuring a remarkable siphon formation carved into the limestone cliffs. The main attraction is a natural tunnel at around 15 meters that connects two open-water areas through a narrow passage in the rock. The siphon creates gentle currents that draw divers through the passage, where the walls are decorated with encrusting organisms adapted to the constant water flow. Beyond the siphon, the site drops to 22 meters over a landscape of fallen boulders and carved limestone hosting gorgonians and large lobsters. The approach through Portu Pedrosu — a natural harbor framed by towering white cliffs — is itself spectacular. This site combines the geological wonders of the Gulf of Orosei's karst coastline with excellent Mediterranean marine life, all within one of Sardinia's most remote and undeveloped stretches of shore.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
