Pinnacoli is a beginner-friendly dive on the Cyclops Coast near Catania, featuring a series of underwater volcanic pinnacles rising from the sandy seabed. These basalt towers, sculpted by ancient lava flows, create natural gathering points for Mediterranean fish life. Dense schools of bream, damselfish, and chromis swirl around the pinnacles, while the rock surfaces host colorful sponges, sea fans, and encrusting organisms. The site's moderate depth and sheltered position make it ideal for training dives, offering beginners the chance to explore Sicily's unique volcanic underwater geology.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
