Due Colonne is an advanced freshwater dive in Lake Garda near Riva del Garda, named after two distinctive underwater rock columns that rise from the lake floor. These geological formations create a dramatic focal point surrounded by the lake's steep, boulder-strewn slopes. Freshwater fish including trout, perch, and char navigate between the columns, while crayfish emerge from rocky shelters. The depth and cold water demand advanced skills and thermal protection, but the unique geological formations and exceptional alpine visibility make Due Colonne one of Lake Garda's most memorable dive sites.
