Sperone is an advanced dive in the northern sector of Lake Garda near Torbole, where a dramatic underwater rocky spur juts into the lake's depths. The feature creates steep walls and overhangs descending well beyond recreational limits, making it popular with both sport and technical divers. The rocky surfaces host freshwater sponges and algae while pike, perch, and trout navigate the deep-water columns. Northern Lake Garda's exceptional visibility, sometimes exceeding 20 meters, allows divers to appreciate the full scale of this impressive geological formation from the alpine waters.
