Nudibranch Heaven is a beginner-friendly dive site near Koh Rong Samloem, Cambodia, and it lives up to its name spectacularly — this shallow reef at just 11 meters maximum depth hosts one of the richest concentrations of nudibranch species in the Sihanoukville area. Over 40 species have been documented here, ranging from tiny Phyllodesmium barely visible to the naked eye to large Spanish dancers and striking chromodoris in electric blue and orange. The reef substrate is ideal for these sea slugs — encrusting sponges, hydroids, and bryozoans provide both food and egg-laying surfaces. Beyond the nudibranchs, the site offers a pleasant reef dive with scattered coral formations, anemones with clownfish, and the usual tropical fish community. For macro photographers and marine biology enthusiasts, Nudibranch Heaven is a paradise of small wonders where a single dive can yield dozens of species in a compact area.
