Eeny Meeny Miny Mo is an advanced deep wall dive on Grand Cayman's south coast, its playful name belying the serious diving offered at 30 metres along the island's dramatic southern wall system. The whimsical naming tradition of Cayman dive sites adds character to what is a genuinely world-class wall diving experience. The site features a section of the south wall where four distinct coral pinnacles rise from the wall face at various depths, presumably inspiring the site's counting-rhyme name. Each pinnacle has its own character and marine life community, with divers choosing which to explore based on their gas supply and planned bottom time. The pinnacles are adorned with spectacular sponge growth, with barrel sponges, tube sponges, and encrusting sponges creating a riot of colour against the blue water backdrop. Deep-water gorgonian fans extend from the pinnacles' exposed faces, their delicate mesh filtering plankton from the current. Black coral bushes add their spiralling elegance to the deeper sections, while hard corals cap the pinnacle tops where light is strongest. The wall between and below the pinnacles drops away vertically into the abyss, with the deep blue of the Cayman Trench providing a backdrop of infinite depth. This vertical environment attracts pelagic species, and encounters with Caribbean reef sharks, eagle rays, and large groupers are common. Schools of horse-eye jacks and bar jacks sweep past the pinnacles in shimmering formations. The 30-metre depth and south coast exposure to current and swell make this a dive for experienced divers with good air consumption and comfort at depth. The pinnacle formation means there are interesting features at every depth from 15 to 30 metres, allowing divers to tailor their profile to their experience level and remaining gas. Visibility is typically excellent, often exceeding 25 metres, with water temperatures between 27 and 29 degrees year-round. Eeny Meeny Miny Mo delivers memorable deep diving with a smile.
