Baía do Porto Santo is an advanced dive site in the waters off Porto Santo Island — the smaller and less-visited companion island to Madeira in the Portuguese Atlantic archipelago, located approximately 40 kilometers northeast of Madeira and known above water for its nine-kilometer golden sand beach and below water for a marine environment of surprising richness and exceptional clarity.
