Popes Eye Marine National Park is a unique dive site in Port Phillip Bay, Victoria, centered around an incomplete 19th-century fort structure. The submerged bluestone walls have become an artificial reef teeming with marine life including large schools of fish, colorful nudibranchs, and Australian fur seals that regularly visit from the nearby colony. Despite its advanced rating due to tidal currents, the site offers extraordinary biodiversity in Melbourne's backyard.
