Sorrento Pier is a beloved beginner-friendly pier dive on the Mornington Peninsula in Port Phillip Bay, Victoria. At 6 meters depth, this heritage wooden pier provides shelter for an astonishing variety of temperate creatures. Weedy seadragons glide among the pylons, while seahorses, blue-ringed octopus, and colorful nudibranchs reward careful observation. The calm, shallow conditions make it perfect for night dives when decorator crabs, octopus, and cuttlefish become active.
