Portsea Pier is one of Victoria's most popular beginner-friendly pier dives on the Mornington Peninsula. At just 7 meters depth, the wooden pylons host an incredible diversity of temperate marine life including weedy seadragons, seahorses, nudibranchs, blue-ringed octopus, and pyjama squid. The sheltered harbor location provides consistently calm conditions, making it ideal for training dives. Night dives are spectacular when cuttlefish, crabs, and crayfish emerge from hiding.
