Kelvin Grove in British Columbia is an advanced dive reaching 40 meters in the cold, nutrient-rich waters of Howe Sound north of Vancouver. The site features a dramatic wall that plunges from the surface into the sound's deep waters, hosting one of the most impressive displays of Pacific Northwest marine life. Giant Pacific octopus, wolf eels in their dens, massive lingcod, and dozens of rockfish species inhabit the wall. Cloud sponges — ancient glass sponge formations unique to British Columbia — can be found at depth, some estimated to be hundreds of years old. The current-swept wall and significant depth demand advanced skills but deliver a world-class cold-water diving experience.
