Paradise is an advanced dive site at Caño Island Biological Reserve off Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula. This deeper site features large volcanic rock formations creating caves, overhangs, and dramatic swim-throughs in current-swept waters. The exposed position attracts impressive pelagic action including large schools of jacks, barracuda, and frequent sightings of bull sharks and hammerhead sharks. Massive marble rays and eagle rays glide over the rocky terrain, while giant moray eels and octopuses inhabit the reef crevices. Strong currents and deeper profiles demand advanced skills, but Paradise delivers some of the most thrilling big-animal encounters in all of Costa Rica's Pacific waters.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
