The Garden is a beginner-friendly dive at Caño Island Biological Reserve off Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula. True to its name, this site features lush underwater gardens of soft corals, sea fans, and sponges growing on volcanic rock formations. The diverse reef supports an abundance of tropical fish including butterflyfish, angelfish, and Moorish idols, while hawksbill turtles graze on the sponges. White-tip reef sharks patrol the sandy corridors between rock formations. The Garden's gentle terrain and rich biodiversity make it a favorite site for underwater photography and a relaxing dive experience in Costa Rica's premier Pacific marine reserve.
