Virador is an intermediate dive to 27 meters near Playa del Coco in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This offshore reef site features a rocky plateau that drops off into deeper water, creating a dynamic diving environment where reef meets open ocean. The plateau supports diverse marine life including white-tip reef sharks, large moray eels, and dense schools of snappers and grunts. Eagle rays and manta rays pass through seasonally, adding exciting pelagic encounters to the reef diving. Moderate currents keep the water clear and nutrient-rich, making Virador a well-rounded intermediate dive with good variety and consistent marine life.
