JardÃn Sin Nombre (Garden Without a Name) is an intermediate dive at MarÃa la Gorda on Cuba's Guanahacabibes Peninsula. This unnamed garden reef features a lush mix of hard and soft corals descending along a moderate slope into deeper water. The reef supports exceptional biodiversity with large barrel sponges, dense gorgonian fields, and healthy star coral colonies. Schools of jacks and barracuda circle at the reef edge, while the coral gardens host lobsters, octopuses, and colorful nudibranchs. Moderate currents bring nutrient-rich water that sustains the garden's impressive growth. Despite lacking a formal name, this site is a well-kept secret among divers who appreciate pristine coral gardens.
