Ponta Ribeirinha is a beginner-friendly dive to 18 meters off São Vicente island in Cape Verde. This rocky point features volcanic boulder formations that create natural shelter for diverse Atlantic marine life. The site is known for its resident green moray eels and large groupers that inhabit the rocky overhangs. Schools of Atlantic species including barber fish and Creole wrasses add color and movement, while the volcanic substrate supports unique algae and invertebrate communities found only in the Macaronesian region. Easy access and moderate conditions make Ponta Ribeirinha a popular introductory dive on São Vicente.
