Ponta Nho Jon - São Vicente, Cabo Verde

Ponta Nho Jon is an advanced dive to 28 meters off São Vicente island in Cape Verde. This exposed point features dramatic volcanic rock walls plunging into deep Atlantic water, creating a dynamic dive environment with strong currents that attract larger marine species. The deep walls host black coral, large sea fans, and dense marine growth, while schools of jacks, barracuda, and wahoo patrol the blue water. Nurse sharks and occasional hammerheads have been spotted at depth. The combination of challenging conditions and impressive Atlantic pelagic life makes Ponta Nho Jon one of São Vicente's most exciting advanced dive sites.
