Djeu - São Vicente, Cabo Verde

Djeu is an advanced dive to 30 meters off the small islet of Djeu between São Vicente and Santo Antão islands in Cape Verde. This remote pinnacle site rises from deep Atlantic water and is exposed to strong ocean currents that bring exceptional marine life encounters. The volcanic rock walls host large sea fans, black coral, and dense schools of Atlantic fish species. Whale sharks, manta rays, and hammerhead sharks have been spotted seasonally at this offshore site. The challenging depth, strong currents, and boat-access-only location make Djeu one of Cape Verde's most exciting and exclusive advanced dive sites.
