Aphrodite Rock is a beginner-friendly dive site on the Akamas Peninsula in northwest Cyprus, with a maximum depth of 10 meters. This scenic site surrounds a prominent rocky outcrop associated with the mythology of the goddess Aphrodite. The underwater terrain features smooth boulders and sandy channels that are easy to navigate. Marine life is plentiful, with colorful wrasses, damselfish, sea bream, and blennies inhabiting the rocky areas. Octopus are frequently spotted, and the seagrass beds attract cuttlefish. The shallow depth, calm conditions, and mythological charm make Aphrodite Rock a memorable beginner dive that combines natural beauty with cultural significance on Cyprus's wild Akamas coast.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
