Liebesinsel - Überlingen / Bodensee

Liebesinsel - Überlingen/Bodensee is an advanced freshwater dive site on Lake Constance in southern Germany, reaching a remarkable maximum depth of 60 meters. Located near the picturesque town of Überlingen, this site offers access to some of the deepest recreational and technical diving available on the Bodensee. The underwater terrain features a dramatic steep wall that plunges into the lake's depths, with rocky ledges and overhangs at various levels. Freshwater sponges, mussels, and algae cover the wall surfaces. Whitefish, perch, burbot, and pike can be seen at different depth zones. The extreme depth, cold temperatures, and technical demands make this strictly a site for experienced divers with appropriate deep-diving qualifications. Liebesinsel is one of the Bodensee's most challenging and rewarding deep dives.
