Wallhausen is a beginner-friendly freshwater dive site on Lake Constance (Bodensee) in southern Germany. This popular shore dive near the village of Wallhausen offers easy access to the lake's fascinating underwater world. The pebbly shore gives way to a slope that descends through various depth zones, with patches of submerged vegetation and rocky areas. The lake supports a healthy population of perch, pike, whitefish, and burbot, along with freshwater crayfish. Visibility is typically good, especially during the cooler months when algal growth diminishes. The gentle conditions and reliable access make Wallhausen one of the most frequented Bodensee dive sites, popular with both training groups and recreational divers throughout the year.
