Leon Dormido - Kicker Rock

León Dormido (Kicker Rock) is an iconic advanced dive site off San Cristóbal Island in the Galápagos, plunging to 40 meters between two towering volcanic rock pillars. The narrow channel between the rocks creates strong currents that attract Galápagos sharks, hammerhead sharks, eagle rays, and sea turtles in extraordinary numbers. The vertical walls are covered in black coral and sea fans, with schools of king angelfish adding splashes of color. This is one of the Galápagos' most legendary dives, combining dramatic topography with world-class shark encounters.
