Gordon Reef is an advanced drift dive at the southernmost of the four reefs in the Strait of Tiran, Egypt's Red Sea. The reef is marked by the rusted hulk of the Louilla cargo ship grounded on its top. Strong currents create exhilarating drift diving along walls covered in pristine soft corals and massive gorgonians. Hammerhead sharks, grey reef sharks, and eagle rays are regularly encountered in the current. The southern plateau features a stunning coral garden. Gordon Reef demands respect for its powerful currents but delivers world-class Red Sea diving.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
