Bollullo is an advanced dive site off Tenerife's northern coast, named after the famous wild beach of Playa del Bollullo near Puerto de la Cruz. This exposed site features raw volcanic reef terrain battered by the Atlantic, with dramatic basalt formations, channels, and overhangs creating a rugged underwater landscape. The nutrient-rich northern waters support exceptional marine biodiversity including large groupers, schools of barracuda, and dense populations of sponges and hydroids on the rock surfaces. The remote access, strong currents, and heavy surf conditions limit this site to experienced divers, but those who venture here are rewarded with some of Tenerife's most pristine and untouched underwater environments.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
