El Cabrón Beach is an advanced dive site at the main entry point of the El Cabrón marine reserve near Arinaga, Gran Canaria, reaching 19 meters depth. Despite the accessible shore entry, the site is rated advanced due to the rocky scramble required to reach the water and the exposed Atlantic conditions that can create challenging entries and exits. Once underwater, the protected reserve rewards divers with exceptional biodiversity including angel sharks, large groupers, parrotfish, and dense schools of salema. The volcanic rock formations are alive with nudibranchs, octopuses, and moray eels. The reserve's protected status ensures one of the richest marine environments in the Canary Islands.
