La Herradura

La Herradura is the flagship deep dive site of the eponymous bay on Spain's Costa Tropical, reaching an impressive 52 meters depth at its deepest point. This advanced site encompasses the bay's full depth range, from shallow reef to dramatic deep walls that plunge far beyond recreational limits. The deeper sections reveal impressive gorgonian forests, black coral colonies, and large deep-water sponges, while enormous groupers and conger eels inhabit the deepest ledges.
