PUNTA DEL VAPOR / MARINA DEL ESTE LEFT SIDE

Punta del Vapor, also known as Marina del Este Left Side, is a scenic dive site on the western edge of the Marina del Este harbor in La Herradura. This beginner-friendly site features a gently sloping rocky reef extending from the harbor wall into deeper water, with abundant marine life thriving on the volcanic substrate. Divers encounter colorful nudibranchs, sea stars, and small cuttlefish among the algae-covered rocks, while Mediterranean parrotfish and ornate wrasse add splashes of color. The easy shore entry and typically calm waters make this a perfect first open water dive or night dive location.
