Las Eras is an advanced dive site on Tenerife's southeastern coast near Fasnia, offering rugged volcanic underwater terrain exposed to the open Atlantic. The site features dramatic basalt rock formations, lava tubes, and sharp volcanic ridges descending into deep water. Strong currents bring nutrient-rich waters that attract large pelagic species including barracuda, amberjack, and occasionally manta rays. The rocky substrate hosts impressive groupers, black moray eels, and dense populations of sponges and gorgonians in the deeper sections. The remote location, challenging access, and exposure to Atlantic conditions make Las Eras a site for experienced divers seeking Tenerife's wilder, less-visited underwater landscapes.
