Bajos Gaudel Chiribito is an advanced dive site near Águilas on the Murcian coast, featuring submerged rocky shoals (bajos) reaching 25 meters depth. The site presents a series of underwater ridges and rocky plateaus rising from the sandy seabed, creating concentrated zones of marine life. Large groupers, conger eels, and moray eels guard the deep crevices, while schools of barracuda and amberjack circle the formations. The rock surfaces support gorgonian colonies, sponges, and anemones, with nudibranchs and sea stars adding color to every surface. Currents can be present, channeling nutrients and attracting pelagic visitors. This site offers some of the best advanced diving along the southeastern Spanish coast.
