Playa Piedra Delta Loza del Payo is an intermediate dive site near Águilas on the Murcian coast, reaching 30 meters depth along layered rock formations. The site features distinctive delta-shaped rock slabs and flat stone platforms that create a tiered underwater landscape unique to this stretch of coastline. The layered formations provide shelter at multiple levels for Mediterranean species including groupers, moray eels, and schools of bream. Nudibranchs, sea stars, and anemones decorate the rock surfaces, while the deeper sections may reveal larger pelagic species passing through. The interesting geological formations and good marine biodiversity make this a satisfying dive for those with intermediate experience.
