Veril Chico Jandía is an advanced deep dive site off the southern tip of Fuerteventura near the Jandía peninsula, reaching 40 meters depth. This site features a volcanic reef wall (veril) that drops steeply into the Atlantic depths, with its surfaces covered in impressive gorgonian colonies, black coral, and large sponges. The deep wall attracts large pelagic species including amberjack, barracuda, and the occasional hammerhead shark during certain seasons. Groupers and moray eels inhabit the wall's many crevices, while eagle rays and sea turtles cruise past in the open blue. The extreme depth, strong currents, and remote location make this one of Fuerteventura's most demanding but spectacular dives.
