Veril Grande Jandia

Veril Grande Jandía is a spectacular advanced deep dive off the southern tip of Fuerteventura near the Jandía peninsula, reaching 40 meters depth. This massive volcanic reef wall (veril) is the larger counterpart to Veril Chico, featuring an imposing vertical drop-off adorned with extensive gorgonian gardens, black coral colonies, and massive sponge formations. The deep wall attracts impressive pelagic life including large schools of amberjack, barracuda, and during seasonal passages, hammerhead sharks and manta rays. Giant groupers guard the deeper crevices, while eagle rays and sea turtles cruise along the wall's edge. This is one of Fuerteventura's signature dives, demanding excellent deep diving skills.
