Pot Luck is an intermediate dive in the Somosomo Strait off Taveuni, Fiji, where the dive experience varies with conditions — hence the lucky dip name. On good days with moderate current, divers enjoy exceptional soft coral gardens, schooling fish, and shark sightings. The site features a reef wall with overhangs and small caves adorned with dendronephthya soft corals. Grey reef sharks, whitetip sharks, and barracuda are common visitors. The unpredictable nature of the site adds excitement — some dives produce manta ray encounters, while others focus on the site's rich macro life including pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs, and ornate ghost pipefish. Every dive is a surprise.
