Rainbows End 2 is an intermediate dive site continuing the spectacular Rainbow Reef system in the Somosomo Strait off Taveuni, Fiji. This second section offers a different perspective on the reef's legendary soft coral formations, with particularly dense coverage of golden and orange dendronephthya corals alongside the purples and pinks. The reef structure features more swim-throughs and overhangs than its neighbour, providing sheltered spots where corals grow in extraordinary abundance. Large Napoleon wrasses, groupers, and eagle rays are regular visitors. Like all Rainbow Reef sites, timing with the current is essential — slack tide or gentle incoming flow provides the best conditions for exploring this underwater colour explosion.
