Camps Reef is an intermediate dive site in Micronesia, featuring a healthy reef system at a maximum depth of 18 metres that offers excellent coral diversity and abundant fish life. The reef structure includes coral bommies, channels, and sandy patches creating varied habitats. Hard corals in impressive variety — table, branching, and massive forms — provide the foundation, while soft corals add colour to overhangs and crevices. Schools of surgeonfish, fusiliers, and snappers move across the reef, with occasional reef shark sightings adding excitement. The moderate depth and generally manageable conditions make Camps Reef suitable for confident recreational divers exploring Micronesia's pristine underwater environments.
