Drop Off is a beginner-friendly wall dive in Micronesia, where the reef flat transitions to a dramatic vertical wall that descends into deep blue water. Despite the impressive topography, the wall begins at a shallow depth, allowing beginners to safely experience the thrill of peering over the edge. The upper wall sections feature colourful coral growth with soft corals, sponges, and sea fans. Schools of reef fish patrol different levels of the wall, from anthias in the shallows to larger groupers and snappers deeper down. The clear Micronesian water provides stunning visibility, making the wall's scale and the blue abyss below clearly visible. An accessible introduction to Pacific wall diving.
