The Rock is an advanced dive site in Micronesia, where a massive underwater rock formation rises from 37 metres depth to create a pinnacle that attracts pelagic marine life. The rock's sheer walls are covered in coral growth including sea fans, soft corals, and sponges. Grey reef sharks and barracuda circle the pinnacle, while schooling fish aggregate in the current on the upcurrent side. The depth and potential for strong currents make this a site for experienced divers. The pinnacle's isolated position in open water means conditions can change rapidly, requiring careful dive planning. For qualified divers, The Rock delivers exciting encounters in a dramatic Micronesian underwater setting.
