IJN Fumitsuki is an advanced wreck dive in Truk Lagoon, Chuuk, Micronesia — a Japanese Imperial Navy Mutsuki-class destroyer sunk during Operation Hailstone in 1944. The 97-metre warship lies in deeper water, with her hull and deck guns still recognizable beneath the coral encrustation. The Fumitsuki is one of only a few destroyers accessible in Truk Lagoon, making it historically significant among the wreck fleet. Torpedo tubes, depth charge racks, and the ship's main armament provide fascinating military archaeology. The wreck attracts large marine life including grey reef sharks and eagle rays. Advanced certification and deep diving experience are required for this historically important warship dive.
