Beadnell is a shore dive site on the Northumberland coast near the Farne Islands, offering beginner-friendly diving from a sheltered bay with a sandy beach. The rocky reefs and kelp beds offshore support a healthy population of crabs, lobsters, wrasse, and butterfish. In the right season, grey seals from the nearby Farne Islands may be encountered. The site provides a gentle introduction to North Sea shore diving with relatively easy access. Beadnell is popular with northeast England dive clubs as both a training site and a recreational dive, and serves as a convenient launching point for boat dives to the Farne Islands and other offshore sites along this dramatic Heritage Coast.
