Beadnell Bay Ladyhole is a shore dive site near Beadnell on the Northumberland coast, close to the Farne Islands seal colony. This rocky inlet provides access to a shallow reef reaching 10 meters depth, with kelp-covered boulders and sandy gullies creating varied habitat. Despite the moderate depth, the advanced rating reflects the North Sea exposure, cold temperatures, and potential surge at the entry point. Crabs, lobsters, wrasse, blennies, and anemones populate the reef, with the bonus possibility of seal encounters from the nearby Farne Islands colony. The site offers a more challenging alternative to the sheltered Beadnell Bay shore dive, rewarding experienced divers with better marine life diversity.
