Knacker Hole is a beginner-friendly shore dive near Beadnell on the Northumberland coast, adjacent to Lady Hole and close to the Farne Islands. This sheltered rocky cove offers easy entry to a shallow reef environment reaching 12 meters depth. Kelp forests, rocky overhangs, and sandy patches support a healthy community of crabs, lobsters, butterfish, blennies, and various anemone species. The site's name refers to the narrow rocky channel that forms the entry point. Knacker Hole is well-suited for training dives and gentle exploration, with enough marine life to keep experienced divers entertained. The proximity to the seal colony at the Farne Islands means occasional seal encounters are possible.
