Lady Hole is a beginner-friendly dive site near Beadnell on the Northumberland coast, close to the Farne Islands. This sheltered rocky inlet provides easy shore access to a shallow reef environment reaching 12 meters depth. Rock pools, kelp-covered boulders, and sandy gullies create diverse habitat for crabs, lobsters, wrasse, blennies, and colorful anemones. In the right season, young grey seals from the Farne Islands may visit the area. The protected position of the inlet provides some shelter from North Sea swells, making it one of the more reliable shore dives on this exposed coast. Lady Hole is popular with northeast England clubs for both training and recreational diving.
