Bognor Rocks is a shore dive off Bognor Regis in West Sussex, exploring a natural rock reef that extends offshore at shallow depths to around 5 meters. Despite the minimal depth, the site is rated advanced due to strong tidal currents, limited visibility, and the exposed nature of the Sussex coast. The rocks provide habitat for crabs, lobsters, blennies, wrasse, and various anemones, while the sandy areas between reef sections host flatfish and occasional rays. The site requires careful tidal planning — diving is best at slack water. Bognor Rocks offers a surprisingly productive dive for those willing to work with the challenging conditions, and is a regular outing for West Sussex dive clubs.
