The Caves on Loch Long is an advanced shore dive on Scotland's west coast, featuring a series of underwater rock formations and overhangs that create cave-like environments along the steep loch wall. Descending to 35 meters, the site offers experienced divers an atmospheric exploration of dark recesses decorated with plumose anemones, dead men's fingers, and encrusting sponges. The cave formations provide shelter for conger eels, lobsters, and various crustaceans. The cold, dark conditions at depth give this site its character and appeal for adventurous divers. As with other Loch Long sites, dry suits and cold-water experience are essential. The Caves is one of the more dramatic shore dives available along this popular Scottish sea loch.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
