Apollonia II Wreck is a beginner-accessible wreck dive near the island of Makronisos in the Attica region. This small coastal vessel rests at shallow depth, making it one of the most accessible wreck dives near Athens. The compact wreck is easy to navigate, with the hull, deck, and wheelhouse still recognizable despite years of marine colonization. Sponges and anemones cover every surface, while damselfish, blennies, and small groupers have made the wreck their home. The clear Aegean waters provide good visibility for exploring the structure and photographing the marine life. An excellent site for divers new to wreck exploration, combining ease of access with genuine wreck diving atmosphere.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
