Dikigorika Wall is an advanced dive site in the Attica region south of Athens, featuring a spectacular vertical wall that plunges from a rocky plateau into deep blue water. The wall face is adorned with dense gorgonian sea fans, vibrant sponge colonies in orange, yellow, and purple, and patches of false black coral at the deeper sections. Strong currents can sweep along the wall, attracting pelagic visitors including amberjack, barracuda, and the occasional tuna. Large groupers patrol the numerous caves and ledges carved into the limestone. The combination of depth, current exposure, and dramatic topography demands solid experience, but rewards adventurous divers with one of the most scenic wall dives near Athens.
